Music Review: Fanney Khan (Hindi)

Is Amit Trivedi stuck in some sort of a creative rut? Or is it yielding to compulsions from the makers involved? Nothing else explains the unforgiving blandness that pervades Fanney Khan. If Tanishk Bagchi sleepwalks through yet another forgettable remix Mohabbat (can we get him to compose some original tunes, please, he did so well in Kanha!), Amit sounds like a pale shadow of his former self, the only consolation being Achche Din, a pensive soft-rock melody that builds into a lovely hook which is downright catchy.
