The Rhythm of Dance keeps genre hopping, perhaps too quickly to make any sort of noticeable impact, but Aala Aala sees G. V. Prakash and his better half Saindhavi in fine form, delivering their vocal best of the operatic melody that's evocative of Ajay-Atul's Yad Lagla. Saindhavi sings Dreamy Chellamma too, with her sweet voice matching the breezy techno-melody step for step. Sam C. S. himself goes behind the mic for the punchy Mazhai Thulli-like Iraiva Iraiva, while Pappara Pappaa brims with energy, thanks to effervescent vocals from the kids Praniti, Riyaz, Sri Vishnu and Pranav. Uthara Unnikrishnan becomes the voice of Morrakka Mattrakkaa, a bouncy number clearly meant to show Ditya Bhande's cool dance moves (what the movie is about), even as Sathyaprakash tries as much to infuse life into the motivational song Nilladhey Nilladhey. With Lakshmi, Sam C. S. does what's required for a dance-themed film, and sticks to that template to a T.
