Listen: Tim Hecker's "This Life"

Montreal-based consummate experimental electronic producer Tim Hecker has returned from a two year hiatus, announcing his follow-up to the mesmerising 2016 album Love Streams with a new song called This Life, a nine-minute-long fluid, atmospheric trance that's by turns eerie and disorienting, even as the swirling bassline and slickly-crafted electronics result in a transfixing melody.
