Oh how I love Mitski! And her new song Two Slow Dancers too, in case you are wondering. Centred around a pair of old lovers, the song's hauntingly delicate piano-laden melody is as restrained as it's wistful, beautifully conveying the longing for the days gone by, only to realise it's all wishful thinking ("It would be a hundred times easier if we were young again/ But as it is, and it is, we're just two slow dancers, last ones out...").
