There appears to be no stopping Badshah. Not only has the man been involved in a tsunami of songs just this year, they have gone on to become monster bangers with immense mainstream appeal. Maybe Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia is worried that his moment is limited. Maybe he thinks he needs to crank out as much music as he possibly can while he's still hot. Maybe he's right! Or maybe he's just working at the same rate that he's always been working, and it just seems like more now because he's popular and his work commands attention. While it may sound like he's just filing up space, there's no denying some of his songs are catchy. Case in example: Proper Patola, one of the rapper's early hits from 2013, gets a reggae makeover and addictive doesn't quite explain it. Bhare Bazaar (a rehash of the Rishi Rich original), on the other hand, is run-of-the-mill, relying heavily on familiar Punjabi-dance elements and Vishal Dadlani's lively vocals to sail through. Mannan Shaah's opening contributions (Tere Liye, Tu Meri Main Tera, Ziddi Hai Dil) too float by without registering much of an impression despite the nifty arrangements on display, but the highlights, Kya Kahoon Jaaneman (backed by a superb Shashaa Tirupati) and Dhoom Dhadakka, more than compensate for the slump, making it an overall engaging effort.
