At the Venice Film Festival that concluded recently, Thom Yorke likened his musical score for Suspiria (10/26) as akin to making spells, saying "There's a way of repeating in music which can hypnotise, and I kept thinking to myself it was a form of making spells," and Open Again more or less continues to mine that haunting aesthetic to chilling effect.
