Composer(s): M. Ghibran

Gorgeously layered melodies are nothing new for Mohamaad Ghibran, who orchestrates a rich tapestry of strings and sarangi in Kaadhal Kadal Dhana, all to delightful effect. Sathyaprakash and Chaitra Ambadipudi, who is fast becoming a regular in his compositions, are just as fabulous, while composer Sean Roldan makes his presence felt in the poignant, low-key strings-heavy Kannamma Kanvizhi. Anupdeep Dev, Yazin Nizar, Ratnakumar and Pragathi Guruprasad join hands together for what's an astounding free-flowing melody Hey Piriyame Piriyame, even as the closer Maayangal Naanada (Yazin Nizar, Shabir, Ranjith, Shenbagaraj, Narayanan) wraps it all up on a James Bond theme-like beguiling note. Having featured in 23 soundtracks, if there is one thing that you need to know about M. Ghibran, it's that he has very rarely disappointed, and Ratsasan is ample proof of his musical genius.
