I have always felt MC Taylor's Hiss Golden Messenger to have a lot in common with Cass McCombs' style of alt country, folk-rock music, and today's new song from the latter all but confirms it. Titled Sleeping Volcanoes, the gentle acoustic melody comes as part of a preview for his forthcoming ninth studio album Tip of the Sphere (2/8). Give it a listen below -
