Music Review: Party (Tamil)
Composer(s): Premgi Amaren

Party is not Premgi Amaren's composing debut, but it might as well be. Besides being his first big-ticket film as a music director, the soundtrack is particularly noteworthy for the army of singers who have been recruited: there's Anirudh Ravichander singing what's a reggaeton-inspired Kannampoochi, Imman crooning a techno-rock fusion GST, G. V. Prakash and his better half Saindhavi joining hands together for a melodious romantic duet Thean Pudhu Thean, real life actor brothers Suriya and Karthi delivering a peppy EDM dance track Cha Cha Charey, and S.P.B. and Chithra coming back after a long time for a catchy Ilaiyaraaja throwback Kodi Mangani that easily qualifies as the album's best. Party may not completely live up to its name, but Premgi Amaren doesn't disappoint either.
