Cisco Chi imbues Swagatham Suswagatham with a manic energy that's well balanced by Vivek Sagar's peppy tune and Sanjay Das' percussion. Running short of seven minutes, Aagi Aagi is the longest track of the album, but in Anurag Kulkarni and Manisha Eerabathini's outstanding rendition, the jazz-soaked floaty composition comes through beautifully, with solid purchase from Abhijeet Gurjale and Sandilya Pisapati on the violin and Pramod Umapathi on the flute. Parada Jarupukoni takes the rock route, coupled together with Arshad Ali's lovely saxophone interlude and Joel Joseph's drums, and Collegee Agelona, its wacky blend of clarinet and sax notwithstanding, has Wilson Herald's fabulous vocals tremendously complementing it. Veediponidhi Okateley is where the old Vivek Sagar shows up, delivering a soft guitary melody that we have by now learned to associate with him, while Suraj Santosh emerges the heart and soul of the guitar-led rock piece Maarey Kalaley, the soundtrack's pièce de résistance that works superbly as a classical-rock fusion. Vivek Sagar, in his second outing this month after the delightful Sammohanam, infuses Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi with fresh sounds that Tollywood desperately needs. Hope this golden run continues - both for Vivek and the Telugu film industry!
