Lover is perhaps the only soundtrack in recent times that brings together so many Bollywood composers and singers for a Telugu film. And I don't mean that in a bad way. Yazin Nizar turns up the charm in Naalo Chilipi Kal, a breezy strings-laden melody composed by Sai Kartheek, and in Adbhutam, Tanishk Bagchi delivers an addictive classical-techno fusion that is as much a showcase for Jubin Nautiyal and Ranjini Jose's vocals as it's for Bagchi's engaging blend of nadaswaram, thavil and veena. Ankit Tiwari, accompanied by Jonita Gandhi, sticks to his signature sounds for Anthe Kada Mari, but mellifluous it is all the same. Yevaipuga Naa Choopu Saagali is no different, working well as a doleful piece in Ankit Tiwari's heartfelt rendition. But for the middling tunes from Arko (What A Ammayi) and Rishi Rich (Ramuni Banamla), Lover is an assuredly enjoyable listen.
