Listen: Phoebe Bridgers' "Garden Song"
Indie-rock phenom Phoebe Bridgers is back with a solo song in almost three years after dropping debut album Stranger in the Alps in 2017. Since then, she has been working non-stop, from collaborating with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus under the boygenius moniker to releasing a self-titled album as Better Oblivion Community Center with Conor Oberst last year. More recently, she worked with The National's Matt Berninger on his debut solo single Walking On A String, a stunningly lovely, melancholic, country-laced duet. Given how prolific Bridgers has been, it's not surprising that we're are getting to hear more from her. The ruminative folk-laced melody, entitled Garden Song, is sparse as it's understated, and finds the singer and songwriter gently crooning over a finger-picked acoustic guitar. Listen below -
