Music Review: F2 (Telugu)
Composer(s): Devi Sri Prasad

Merely days after Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Devi Sri Prasad is back again with F2. With the kind of demand he is in, it's evident that there must be something he does get right, no? Granted, his songs are not what you would call experimental and boundary-pushing, but it would be foolish to think they aren't mainstream hits. That there exists an audience for his brand of songs goes without saying. But this repeated pursuit of escape has created another sort of trap: the comfort of the familiar. One listen to F2, and it's all commonplace and boring, except when eliciting a rare burst of pleasure with Entho Fun, a simple guitar'y melody featuring a lovely assortment of flute (Kiran) and violin (Padma Shankar). F2's music is anything but Fun, and double the Frustration.
