Music Review: Padi Padi Leche Manasu (Telugu)
Composer(s): Vishal Chandrashekhar
Listen to the songs online here: JioSaavn
Armaan Malik and Sindhuri Vishal take turns singing the impeccably crafted title song, while densely-packed strings and soft percussion form a lovely backdrop for Kallolam, which Anurag Kulkarni delivers in style. The fusion of rock and Indian classical elements works wonders for Hrudayam Jaripe, a deeply melodious tune that gains solid purchase from Yazin Nizar's vocals. Sid Sriram, the man of the hour, leads the plush, downtempo Emai Poyave, with Vishal filling out the song with swirls of electronic colour. Sindhuri Vishal comes back a second time, headlining what's a beautiful contemporary classical-themed composition O My Lovely Lalana, even as Rahul Sipligunj and M. M. Manasi's peppy rendition of Urike Cheli Chilaka helps it tide over the largely familiar folk soundscape. Vishal Chandrashekhar, in his third outing as a composer in Telugu, crafts a mighty engaging blend of melodies with Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
