Listen: Ariana Grande's "imagine"

It's not a John Lennon cover, but it's a seductive slow-burn of an R&B ballad from Ariana Grande. Moulded in the vein of Dangerous Woman and R.E.M., and released merely weeks after thank u, next, both the songs are set to appear in her forthcoming LP, a follow-up to Sweetener, which is not only her best album to date, but also one of the best albums of 2018. I didn't take much of a shine to thank u..., although I can understand its charm for a breakup anthem (ICYMI, Grande has broken up with Pete Davidson), but this song, imagine, hits the sweet spot right.
