Anupam Roy's flair for sedate melodies is something of a given, and in Meri Khamoshi Hai, he packs a punch, concocting a beautiful esraj-led piece that Ishan Mitra renders with a lot of soul. So Ja So Ja, on the other hand, turns out be the album's unexpected surprise, with Rekha Bhardwaj's evocative vocals serving as the pitch-perfect bedrock for the haunting lullaby. Pari is a short but effective outing from Anupam Roy.
