I know it's been more than two months since Vaanam Thoorammalae released, but for some reason I cannot get it out of my head. The intoxicating semi-classical melody, from one of Thaman's strongest efforts in recent years, finds him putting his best foot forward, layering pitch-perfect vocals from Deepak Subramaniam and Shashaa Tirupati with gorgeous strings, subtle electronic beats and synth-string effects, culminating in a harmony that's enticing and oh-so-beautiful.
