Music Review: Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (Hindi)
Composer(s): Amit Trivedi

Amit Trivedi's latest outing as a composer is mostly middling, and the fact that two of the four tunes reek of Ghanchakkar (Hum Hain Insaaf and Chavanprash are reminiscent of Ghanchakkar Babu and Allah Meherbaan) doesn't help matters much. Papon-sung Qasam Kha Li is simple but pleasant, in a typical Amit Trivedi'ish way, even as the man turns in a beautiful melody with Tafreeh, building on a soft rhythmic beat that closes out on an anthemic note. Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is trademark Trivedi, and that's both a blessing and a curse.
