Listen: James Blake's "Don't Miss It"

Two years after dropping his critically acclaimed The Colour in Anything, James Blake appears to be readying for something big in 2018. Earlier in January, he released the oddly mesmerising If the Car Beside You Moves Ahead, and now he is back again with an austere, choppy song about the fear of missing out. Aptly titled Don't Miss It, the piano-led piece is characterised by brutal, heartbreaking lyrical content ("I could avoid contact with eyes/ I could avoid going outside," Blake sings at one point), all the while replete with his signature auto-tuned falsetto and subdued glitchy atmospherics.
