Music Review: Kurangu Bommai (Tamil)
Composer(s): B. Ajaneesh Loknath

The mellifluous Paathum Paakkaama has Shankar Mahadevan on the vocals and the man as usual kills it with his superlative rendition. The trumpets add to the folky charm of Beachu Kaathu, while Annamaare Ayyamaare aims for an engaging 'storytelling' soundscape led by V. M. Mahalingam and Premji Amaran. Unna Naan Rasikka and Kalangaathe Kanne sung by C. R. Bobby and the composer are too short, but make for beautiful listens while they last. Sandalwood composer Ajaneesh Loknath makes a solid Kollywood debut with Kurangu Bommai.
