Music Review: Tubelight (Hindi)
Composer(s): Pritam Chakraborty

Tubelight is a curious musical outing for Pritam. Not only do the songs (Radio, Naach Meri Jaan) follow a said pattern as defined previously in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, they also come in several versions, adding to the tedium. If Kuch Nahi is overtly mawkish, the affecting Tinka Tinka scores big time, thanks to its fantastic chorus-driven interlude. And so does the breezy Main Agar in both versions sung by Atif Aslam and K.K. In a Pritam soundtrack where Arijit Singh is conspicuous by his absence (and for once it's a relief), Tubelight is more flicker and less glow.
