Oakland-native Jackson Phillips, better known as Day Wave, propelled into the music scene with a series of strong singles in 2015, before following it up with the breezy The Days We Had two years later. Now after a prolonged absence and a featuring act in Jai Wolf's Your Way last year, the synthpop musician is back with a crisp 14-minute long EP called Crush, once again bringing his unique brand of airy melodies to the fore. The easy highlight is Starting Again, a dreamy, shimmery piece reminiscent of You Are Who You Are that's at once crushingly beautiful and tranquil. Listen below -
