Listen: Angelo De Augustine's "Santa Barbara" ft. Sufjan Stevens
California-based Angelo De Augustine was last heard in the criminally underrated Tomb the previous year, but he is back again with a fresh song called Santa Barbara that finds the singer collaborating with Sufjan Stevens for the second time after the hushed reverie that was Time. The pairing between De Augustine and Stevens works just as well this time around, with the wistful melody — evocative of S. Carey's pretty soundscapes — touching on themes of loneliness and love.
