Listen: Hannah Diamond's "The Ending"

Hannah Diamond's heartbreak album Reflections is finally here in flesh and blood, and it's pop music that transcends genre conventions for an electronica-tinged sonic scrapbook jam-packed with techno-adjacent bops that're by turns skittery and smooth. Complemented by Diamond's synthetic, heavily-tweaked vocals, the easy highlight — outside of Fade Away and Make Believe, both of which were released as one-off singles years ago — is The Ending, a bouncy, twinkly minimalist dancehall cut that sounds like what would be the result if PC Music joined hands with Palmistry's Benjy Keating.
