Vijay Yesudas and Shweta Mohan are dependably good in the lilting Etho Mazhayil, and in Pakalaay, Yesudas junior brings his inimitable charm to the gentle, acoustic melody. Enthanee Mounam rides on a pleasant, guitar-laden arrangement, but Pournami Superalleda, sung by Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Balu Varghese, is catchy folk fusion, with Prince George throwing in chenda (Kapil Balan) for good measure that jives very well with the composition. He's the One works too, if for the engaging rap-EDM-flute medley that gets solid backing in Lonely Doggy's vocals. For Pelli Choopulu's Malayalam remake, Vivek Sagar's wacky musical debut (which boasted of lovely tunes like Chinuku Taake, Merise Merise and Aanandamayenu) gets lost in translation for something that's more conventional and ordinary.
