Music Review: Urumeen (Tamil)

Andony Dasan is his usual self in the passable guitary-folk number Baby Baby. But Achu makes up for it in the fantastically lilting Hey Umayaal, with Vijay Yesudas and the composer himself lending pitch-perfect vocal support in two separate versions, and even more so in Siru Nadai, which might as well be the new Yen Uyirey owing to its enchanting violins and a fabulous singing by Karthik. Roshni Suresh's spot-on vocals makes its Reprise version too an utterly delightful listen, even as the soundtrack ends on a frenzied high with Yaadhum Oorae. Achu impresses yet again with Urumeen.
