Uchiyila Udhichavane is undiluted Tamil folk and Vivek Narayan does full justice to the song with his vocals. The retro brassy tune of Ambala Singam (Haricharan, Sean Roldan) is perky and Sean's arrangements are a big plus. Andony Dasan is pitch-perfect for the folksy Killadi Oruthan, the thavil and accordion-laden orchestration wonderfully complementing the pleasant song. The composer nails the western country-Tamil folk mix in Rasa Magarasa, a bouncy number thoroughly enlivened by the exuberant rendition of Sean Roldan and Rita and the instruments that accompany it.

The orchestrational grandeur of Kadhal Kanave and Idhu Enna cannot be merely described in words. Impressively supported by Pradeep Kumar and Kalyani Nair in the former, the flute, violins and guitars in the background almost bring back memories of A. R. Rahman of the 90's (and in a good way). The latter, in the voice of Haricharan (and Kalyani Nair for backing vocals), sounds splendid and undoubtedly gives the listener a musical high. Composer Sean Roldan hits the bulls-eye yet again, and with Mundasupatti, he has a hat-trick on his hands!
