Azhagu is beautiful! The brilliantly composed Carnatic song is exemplary and mesmerizing, both in its minimalist instrumental and the other variant sung by singer Unnikrishnan's daughter Uthara. Flautist Naveen Kumar does a commendable job as well. A modern Nila Kaikiradhu indeed! The rustic folk track Kokkara Kozhi is adequately enjoyable, while Haricharan's stupendous rendition of the mellifluous melody Ore Oru Ooril works wonders, the piano-ghatam blend being particularly noteworthy. The second instrumental Moments of Life makes fantastic use of jal tarang and strings (those violins) to deliver a haunting piece. Director A. L. Vijay and G. V. Prakash have once again proved they are a indeed a combo to look out for!
