Music Review: Savaari 2 (Kannada)
Composer(s): Manikanth Kadri

Yello Mareyaagi, sung well by Ash King, is lilting and easy on the ears, while actor Puneeth Rajkumar himself goes behind the mic for the racy, if passable, kuthu number Pipi. Simple Aagidde sounds like Jab Tak Hai Jaan's Ishq Shava for its Latino inspirations, and yet works very well in Raman Mahadevan and Shalmali Kholgade's (her first Kannada song I presume) lively vocals. The Savaari Theme is a neat effort, and the plaintive Yaava Mohana Murali is functional at best. The pick of the soundtrack is the spectacular semi-classical melody Ninna Danigaagi, which appears in two separate versions sung brilliantly by Karthik and Hamsika Iyer and Santhosh Venky and Supriya Lohith respectively. Manikanth Kadri's Savaari 2 is a musical savaari indeed!
