Aagaasa Nilavu (S. P. Balasubrahmanyam) and Anbu Dhaan's (Krishnaraj) Ilaiyaraaja'esque inspirations are evident in their tunes and the simple arrangements that adorn them. Karthik is effective in the folksy Sattena, and likewise Hariharasudan and Vandana Srinivasan in Paathu Paathu. The guitary kids chorus Ayya Ayyo, in the voices of Laxman, Rishi, Sailaxmi, Harish, Ayshwarya, Asvitha and Vaishali, is okay'ish and reminds one of Vidyasagar's Chenthamara in the Malayalam film Ordinary. Manja Pai has that heard before feel and is average stuff from composer Raghunanthan.
