Montreal-based musician Ludovic Alarie, who makes lush, ambient pop, premiered his first song in English last December, a jangly, smooth piece called we're a dream nobody wrote down, only to follow it up with the wistful we don't exist earlier this year. where have you gone, the new song off his forthcoming full-length (5/10), takes a more upbeat route, enveloping his dreamy vocals in a gorgeous arrangement of plucked guitar patterns, digitised basslines and a minimalist R&B production.
