Music Review: Angamaly Diaries (Malayalam)
Composer(s): Prashant Pillai

Do Naina/La Vettam appears in five different variants yet it's criminal how the waltzy song gets over even before you realise it. The lovely Ayalathe is so refreshing and minimalist, it substitutes actual percussion with door knocks, and a bunch of other mundane noises. Angamaly, Theeyame and Thana Dhina are catchy folk pieces, bolstered further by Angamaly Pranchi's fantastic singing and the tunes' heady brass percussion. Angamaly Diaries is short but eclectic, in trademark Prashant Pillai style!
