Music Review: Katti Batti (Hindi)
Composer(s): Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy

Lip To Lip sounds as if Patiala House's Laung Da Lashkara was given a Western makeover, but it's cheery and fun nonetheless. The customary dance number Sarfira, although peppy, gets tiresome beyond a point. The melancholic Sau Aasoon rides on Shankar Mahadevan's spotless rendition, and in Jaago Mohan Pyaare, the composers keep things lively with an interesting rock fusion. Saving the best for the last, the minimally arranged Ove Janiya, in two different versions sung by Mohan Kannan and Sayani Palit, is serene and makes for a soulful listen. Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy dish out an engaging fare with Katti Batti.
