Listen: Julien Baker's "Hardline"

Julien Baker's third album Little Oblivions will be out in little over a month's time, and after sharing the rock-leaning ballad Faith Healer way back in October last year, the singer-songwriter is back with a second taste of her upcoming effort. Entitled Hardline, the song is a departure from her sparse, stripped back acoustic sounds just like its predecessor, characterised by grand flourishes of drums and an explosive finale. Little Oblivions follows her delicately gorgeous 2017 album Turn Out the Lights and the boygenius EP from her collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus in 2018. Have it a go below -
