Listen: Kumi Takahara's "Tide"

Japanese artist Kumi Takahara is all set to make her musical debut with See-Through, which comes out next month (2/24). While that's still quite a few Fridays away, Takahara is kicking things off with a first glimpse of the album. Entitled Tide, the song is a classical-informed stunner whose free-flowing aesthetic is complemented by a gorgeous amalgamation of violins and orchestral swells. It is equal parts churning and dreamy, and a grand, lovely, sweeping piece of work that builds steadily to a crescendo before gently ebbing to a close. Listen below -
