Music Review: Madha Gaja Raja (Tamil)
Composer(s): Vijay Antony
Film: Madha Gaja Raja
Chikku Bukku (Chinna Ponnu) offers nothing new but makes for an enjoyable folk number, particularly for those guitar riffs accompanying the traditional percussion. Vijay Antony himself goes behind the mic for Thumbakki Thumbai, a forgettable fare that serves the usual gibberish assortment of words in his songs. One listen to My Dear Loveru would be ample reason to let Vishal know that he better stick to acting rather than trying his luck at singing (not to forget the atrocious lyrics either). As for the rest, the less said the better. A run-of-the-mill outing if not for that insanely catchy opening track that gets your feet tapping!
