The title track, sung by Neeraj Shridhar, is a remixed makeover of the original, itself a tune that's lifted from South Korean music group jtL's My Lecon. The result is a tepid retread that doesn't quite land as it should. Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar lead Hum Nashe Mein Toh Nahin, a genial-if-familiar duet that harks back to JAM8's — a musical platform founded by Pritam — Zaalima (Raees), while De Taali is forgettable EDM that goes through the motions. Ami Je Tomar (Mere Dholna Sun), a classical-leaning highlight from the earlier film, appears in six different versions, even as Pritam embellishes the song with subtle changes that works best in its downtempo "revisit" sung by Shreya Ghoshal. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 mines the nostalgia of its 2007 prequel to serve a passably enagaging fare.

  1. Wasn't a big fan of the original soundtrack to begin with, save for the fantastic ballad that was "Labon Ko". (I'd take Vidyasagar's "Raa Raa" any day over Pritam's "Mere Dholna".)
