Hey Kanmani coasts along a sprightly synthetic groove that finds Abhijith Anilkumar and Greeshma Tharavath leading on the vocal front, even as Kailas incorporates gorgeous backing harmonies and a cauldron of interestingly assembled orchestral flourishes comprising nadaswaram, kazoo (played by Abhijith) and violin. Rithuragam is no different, strutting on breezy atmospherics and syncopated beats, with Keshav Vinod and Sruthy Sivadas adding layers of soft, radiant texture. Yathonnum Parayathe's unusual rhythm patterns become a launchpad for an exquisite melody, its quietly throbbing pulse superbly complemented by Sithara Krishnakumar and Abhijith, while sarangi and sitar sections anchor the song against a classical backdrop.
