Cassandra Jenkins' forthcoming album An Overview On Phenomenal Nature is fast turning out to be a solid effort to watch out for, and ahead of its release next week, the New York City-based artist and musician has shared another preview, joining the previous singles Michelangelo and Hard Drive. Crosshairs, as the new song is called, is a slow, lingering drift of beautiful music suffused with ethereal overtones that plays out like a gentle reverie, at once elegant and sparse, even as it builds into a dreamlike, almost hazy melody.
