Music Review: Colour Photo (Telugu)
Composer(s): Kaala Bhairava

Tharagathi Gadhi is every bit warm and frothy (its short pathos variant is no less soulful), while Arere Aakasham's buoyant rhythms (evocative of Yuvan Shankar Raja) find their perfect match in Anurag Kulkarni's effervescent rendition. The Yuvan influences continue to make their presence felt in Ekaantham, a cromulent synth-laden piece led by Ramya Behara, even as Hemachandra's winsome vocals take centre-stage in the punchy College Song, its rock-ish template garnished with handclapped grooves, guitars, and soaring choruses. Keeravani's son Kaala Bhairava, in his sophomore outing with Colour Photo, courses through familiar sounds that's simple-yet-pleasant.
