Melbourne five-piece Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever's debut full-length Hope Downs last year was an exercise in 80's jangle pop, all gleaming and glistening, propelled along by revved-up, lustrous guitar reveries and gently rollicking rhythms in a manner not so different from The War on Drugs, if only a tad leaning on the garage-rock side. Their brand new song, In the Capital, expands on the bouncy music they have perfected over the years, while giving it a slightly mellower edge.
