Forget Me Not |
Forget Me Not, from clinical psychologist-turned-author Luana Lewis, is a twisty psychological drama like no other. When Rose learns of her estranged daughter Vivian's suspected suicide, all she has is a lot of questions, but no answers. Nobody in her position would have, for that matter. But she decides to ask them anyway. What's the harm? She reaches out to her son-in-law Ben in hopes that he may have some clue as to what happened and why, in addition to helping him bring up her granddaughter Lexie, but he is rightly (and unsurprisingly) reluctant, for here was a woman, foremost a mother, who had been away from her own family for most of the time, putting her career ahead of everything else. But slowly as she begins to draw herself close to her once-distant loved ones, she stumbles across the truth, one that's so deceptively simple yet unimaginable that it will scare the daylights out of you. Highly recommended!
