Heavy Rotation: Animal Collective, MISUN, Robin Pecknold & More

Brace yourselves for ANTI...

FloriDada (Animal Collective) - Harmonious and rollicking, Animal Collective's lead single from their to-be-released album Painted With is infectious from the get go.

Hymn for the Weekend ft. Beyonce (Coldplay) - A melody that features Beyonce in a blink-and-miss appearance, who is relegated to providing backing vocal support for Chris Martin. A wasted opportunity, in my opinion, both in terms of the collaboration and the song in itself, which while perfectly serviceable, is utterly forgettable. But damn is that hook catchy!

Give It Up (MISUN) - The kind of bubbly, chill track you don't mind getting addicted to.

Jump, Where Have You Been, We Found Love, You Da One, Cheers (Drink to That), Rude Boy, Only Girl, Don't Stop the Music, Umbrella, Take a Bow, Russian Roulette, Nobody's Business ft. Chris Brown, Who's That Chick, If I Never See Your Face Again (Rihanna) - The Barbadian singer is yet to reveal any big details about her much-ANTIcipated eighth studio album ANTI (affectionately called #R8), but that hasn't stopped the hit popstress from relentlessly teasing about it. While we (impatiently) wait for RiRi to drop the next big thing, these songs should fix your craving for now, just now. How sick is that drop in Jump by the way? I can't help but jump to it!

Out of Sight, Out of Mind (Robin Pecknold) - Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold's solo offering is as mesmerising as the band's, the midway musical cacophony aside.
