Music Review: Azhagu Kutti Chellam (Tamil)
Composer(s): Ved Shanker Sugavanam

The title song-cum-lullaby, in equally mesmerising two different versions, is beyond beautiful in Balram and Shakthisree Gopalan's soothing voices, while even more lilting goodness follows in Kaadhal Oru Sathurangam, thanks to its captivating violin'esque arrangement, and Abhay Jodhpurkar and Chinmayi's first rate singing. Boom Shikalaka Boom is no exception, with the composer employing an arresting assortment of violin, ektara, banjo and guitar, and a lively kids chorus (Yazhini, Neha Babu, Ken Karunas and Rajesh Gunasekar). The soundtrack's centrepiece is the stunningly tuned Thiruvasagam, and Balram once again leads with an emotionally charged rendition. Azhagu Kutti Chellam sees a dazzling musical effort from Ved Shanker Sugavanam.
