Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Billie Eilish, after releasing the alt-pop juggernaut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? last March, returned earlier this February with the haunting ballad No Time to Die, a dark, brooding mix of violins and subdued synths that made for a suitably contemplative and noirish James Bond theme. Now she has shared another song. my future, as it's called, is a lot more dreamy and minimalist, carrying a wistful tone that morphs into an upbeat jam once the percussive beat kicks in, revving things up.
