Listen: Mary Lattimore's "Quintana"

Los Angeles-based harpist Mary Lattimore has been on a spree: first came Hundreds of Days last year, then came the collaborative full-length New Rain Duets with Mac McCaughan early this March, followed by a featuring act in Holy Hive's Oh I Miss Her So, and now we have a 15 minute long drifting, airborne instrumental called Quintana that's both sublime and twinkling, while piling on swelling layers of electronic dissonance cascading over melodic harp notes ever so beautifully and gently. This is what Lattimore had to say about it: "I made this song when making the others from Hundreds of Days. Pretty long. Have been playing it live but wasn't released. Pretty imperfect but has some cool moments I think. xox" Give it an earful right below -
