Music Review: Guna 369 (Telugu)
Composer(s): Chaitan Bharadwaj

Tholi Parichayama Idhi is an instant earworm, complemented by a beautiful vocal (Haricharan, who else!) plus guitar interplay, while Bujji Bangaram, despite its lilting soundbed, fails to take off. Vijay Yesudas and Shweta Mohan are an absolute delight to listen in Manasukidi Garalam, a gentle melody backed by a gorgeous arrangement of plucked guitar patterns, and in Dheveri, Bharadwaj ropes Gowtham Bharadwaj and Ramya Behara for an EDM-sheathed classical fusion that's dazzling as it's intoxicating. Kaala Bhairava's charged rendition propels Dhamaruka, but it's Mohana Bhogaraju who heartfelt singing takes Usuremo to soaring heights. Guna 369 may lack the wow factor associated with Chaitan Bharadwaj's earlier efforts, but there's too much palpable emotion in these songs to reject them as mere product.
