Music Review: Comali (Tamil)
Composer(s): Hiphop Tamizha

Hiphop Tamizha continue to dig deep into their drying well of patented EDM sounds with diminishing returns, and as a result, Comali comes off more as a simple retread of their early work. The assembly line quality that plagues most of the album works against its favour, and not every song lands as it is supposed to. But the ennui-inducing arrangements are offset — if only marginally — by Hi Sonna Pothum's esraj-laden bouncy tropical house fusion (that recalls to mind DJ Snake's Let Me Love You) and Nanba Nanba's sombre stringy melody.
