Listen: The National's "Hairpin Turns"

The National will be releasing their eighth full-length I Am Easy To Find in exactly two weeks' time, their follow up to 2017's Sleep Well Beast, and while the Ohio-based indie rock five piece have already shared two teasers You Had Your Soul With You and Light Years, they have unboxed another one. Titled Hairpin Turns, the new song is a gentle melody coasting along a melancholic path, with Matt Berninger's resigned vocals working as a neat contrast to the lilting guitar riffs that undergird the tune.
