Listen: Slowdive's "Slowdive"

There's been literally a ton of new music from The Afghan Whigs, Hoops, Pond, Mac DeMarco, Perfume Genius, Blondie, Day Wave, Gorillaz and many more, but the one album I was looking forward to the most was shoegaze greats Slowdive's self-titled sonic outing, their first in 22 years. And I am happy to say I am not least in the bit disappointed. It's nothing but captivating, dreamy and spacious. An immersive sensory experience like no other, as the eight tracks seamlessly blend with one another to engulf the listener in a blissful, trance-like state. Stream it below -
